My wife, Susan, and I have had many discussions about how many wusses there are in the world these days.
After deciding to document some of my thoughts on the topic. I even thought “Wuss World” would be a great title for a book. Naturally, being a web guy, the next step was for me to grab a domain name.
The Wuss.World domain was available
I was quite surprised that I was able to grab the wuss.world domain! So at 2:17 pm this afternoon I got it.
The .world domains cost a little more than the commonly used domains.
That being said, one thing that being in the web development field since 1998 has taught me that words in a domain name are quite important. And this one is nice and short – just two words – but totally pertinent words related to the book’s topic. Having “wuss” and “world” will help the search engines find this site. My goal will ultimately be to make the words “wuss world” findable by the search engines.
I am also aware of, as a web developer, that the domain name is usually the least expensive part of a web presence. And once you own a particular domain, you are the only one who can use it (so it is unique world-wide) as long as you continue to keep it active. We recommend keeping them paid up for 10 years which will lock in the annual fee and avoid price increases during that time.
